jclaudii & southerngirl are hosting the Piney Great Arkansas CITO Event near the Long Pool Recreational Area on September 20th. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate to the Forest Service all the good that geocachers can do. With the recent developments regarding geocaching in Arkansas' Nat...

I have some experience concerning this  When we get our premium membership I planned on creating a couple of bookmark lists for cachers with kids and our recommended caches. One of trails and one for urban hunting. Just a few: GCVQ54 Highest Point in the Ozarks by Cardinal. GC10QHE Once High an...

It was great seeing the "banner master" himself at the Paris event. I sent you a friend request through GC. I'm not sure what I need to do to turn it on but then I'm fairly computer illiterate. All back of the bus and everything. LOL.

Texas Cache

I remember seeing a cache in Texas somewhere that involved a difficult and lengthy hike to find it. Inside the cache were custom made patches for the finders. I misplaced all the information I had on it and was wondering if anybody knew the GC number or had heard about it?

I'll be ready. (I'll have my daughter with me this time.) PS - OENavigator (I'm getting a few spare tires in case any one gets ahold of your idea.) The cupstack must be stopped! LOL. As usual the logistics of preparing snacks and food for the trip, getting the kids awake and dresse...

We carry extra log sheets also, as well as the little baggies. If there isn't room for the new log or it's just too nasty to dry out the old one we'll just post a needs maintenance and scratch an X on it. Or put a sticker on the container.

I'll take an initial reading and save it as a POI. Then walk a hundred feet or so away and use the GOTO function to lead me back. Once back at GZ I'll make a note on that same POI how far away I am. I'll repeat that a few times and then take an average of the best ones. p.s. I like BPNJ's idea. I th...

While caching this weekend...

we found GC14HX SKULL ROCK by red ink. This cache is located north of Natural Dam in the Ozarks and is one of the best caches we have ever found. I would love to go on but I don't want to spoil it for anybody. If you ever find yourself in the area be sure to check it out. http://i223.photobucket.com...
